Lynn Landis-Brown, J.D.

Lynn Landis-Brown, is a lawyer and mediator with a deep commitment to collaborative law. Prior to becoming a lawyer, she was a registered nurse. Through her law practice, Lynn has combined her care giving approach and legal training in assisting families in crisis for over 20 years. She is active in many leading organizations in the legal industry and in the areas of mediation and collaborative law in Colorado. She has served in these organizations on their boards and in coordinating education events. She has promoted the collaborative model through radio interviews and in presentations to the public.

After litigating for more than two decades, Lynn found that clients were increasingly unhappy with the high cost of court battles as well as the anger, resentment, and expense that lingered long after the court case ended. Families disliked the uncertainty of giving power over important, intimate family decisions to judges who, while well-intentioned, often lacked the time or power to provide the remedy clients sought. Lynn sees the collaborative model of divorce as a way for divorcing families to have more control over their future.
